Account Information: Name, email address, password, trade type, and business information when you create an account.
Client Data: Names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of your clients that you add to the app.
Invoice and Quote Data: Line items, pricing, notes, and attachments you include in invoices and quotes.
Job Information: Photos, voice notes, and other materials you upload to job folders.
Payment Information: When you subscribe to our service, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details.

How We Use Your Information

AI Features and Voice Data

If you use our optional "Talk to Work" AI features:

Voice recordings are processed by OpenAI's Whisper service for transcription
Transcribed text is processed by OpenAI to extract structured data
We do not store raw voice recordings after processing
AI usage is logged for billing and quality purposes

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our business (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, OpenAI for AI features, Resend for email)
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
